I am really getting pissed off by clickbank from last one month or so. I am not sure what is wrong with their system. There is surely something wrong. One day I get around 10 to 20 sales and next day nothing? How is that possible with very similar number of clicks. And now this is happening very often. I am planning to move, but I think I need to do some research on finding more advertisers from other affiliate networks. Damn clickbank, I have started hating you. Fix it else people are leaving.
In due time this probably is true, people have spent too much time to just drop it yet, but a couple of more weeks people will be leaving, thats if they haven't already. Honestly I've never have been a big fan of these *%$* Clickbank threads, but I've been doing this for a long time, and In the past couple of years, I have never had a "Lose Money" day, or for this matter dayS. This subject alone has stressed me out too much in the past couple of days, so yes I paused my "CB campaigns". Running only physical prouducts and CPA for now. Taking this time to work on other things. Oh yeah! Almost forgot: *%$%# Clickbank! All better, Vene
Many people are wondering the same thing. Clickbank insist everything is normal, however, every affiliate has virtually complained that things are definitely NOT NORMAL. Some merchants/vendors have also noticed strange behaviour kicking in - but no prolonged pattern yet. There are several possibilities and even though I have not been a clickbank user, I am registered there and was about to start putting in some serious effort to earn money through marketing their products. With the current stories, it definitely isn't the time to start working on promoting Clickbank products. I have made a couple of posts trying to consider possible reasons and so have some other people... it would be good if anyone could add to the list and eliminate any possible causes through testing: 1. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=6739837&postcount=30 2. The new creditcard verifcation being used by major creditcard companies - securepay - whether it is affecting credit card sales, so people are driving the traffic but valid credit cards are being rejected 3. Are people who sell a product in niche X the only people suffering? Or is it across the board on all niche areas? 4. Potential hijacking of affiliate sales caused by spyware etc? 5. Any patterns of behavior - apart from the listed pattern some have had that it isn't fluctuations, but sales - no sales - no sales - sales (so the problem is regular and only in affect on certain days? certain niches on certain days?) Any other potential reasons:
I agree with this.I am putting a lot of effort into marketing clickbank products and it hurts to see days of frequent sales and then nothing.I understand that you will not always make sales constantly but sometimes you can notice when things are out of the ordinary.
I had sales every day for 5 days, then nothing for a week. Clickbank kill yourself - save the affiliates.
Campaigns are now paused, can't afford to keep spending money sending hundreds of hops and getting no sales. Just not viable anymore. Will wait and see if things get sorted out before going back to Clickbank. I was really enjoying January!
I stopped doing ppc as i was getting hundreds of clicks and no sales. I am really thinking about switching from clickbank. There has to be a reliable affiliate program out there. its so clear to see that cb is having problems with there system. will they ever admit it? No
Paydotcom has lots of products similar to CB and lots of better quality ones too. you might want to check 'em out !!
Are these products truly 'quality ones'??? CPA aff programs -located at CJ,Pepperjam,CPA Empire,etc.- seem to be converting the best right now and it's easy...you just send traffic and get paid for an action the user does like signing up,filling out a form,or clicking a particular link.
I thought of something. If the problem is with the credit card then your not really losing your sales to anyone. Know one if stealing them from you the customer just can't buy. So hopefully when the sales drought ends usually in a few days the customer still wants to buy the product he wanted to buy the other day. So after a few days of zero sales when you start getting sales again if your running a email campaign why not send the an email saying "they're were technical difficulties try it now" and if the days you send an email on the sales are more than average I guess that would suggest it is the credit card problem. Also on a similar note has anyone tried this product http://phantomlinkcloaker.com/videos/PhantomLinkCloakerDemo.html its not mine I found the link on this forum and he shows how zango steals the commission and claims that his product stops it and shows it working has anyone tried it?
This seams to be a regular story off late... Are they doing anything to improve or stop such incidence?
Alright thanks for that I might have bought it the video was convincing. Do you mean this did nothing as you still get the no sales drought thing or that zango is still able to steal you sales? Thanks I'm curious as I'm thinking of buying it.
it didnt make much of a difference. I think zango is a minor problem yes... but link cloakers can also give away a lot of problems as well. Some link cloakers will not even show your site/or affiliate link at all in the first place. I made usual sales amount with it both on and off. And it was on the day when I got no sales after making 300/day to 0/day which was yesterday. This on and off crap is driving me crazy
