Due to the sheer size of Skillipedia content many users told me they couldn't get what it's about. I simplified the layout , left only one menu and added a summarising paragraph in front page. Do you still find it confusing, now? Cheers
The right navigation is good.. however the content links are still confusing, try adding more space between each "line"
I do, yes. Why isn't it arranged directory style like dmoz or something? The front page is not clear at all - all the options are plain links, and barely distinguishable from one another. It's just a bulk of text - doesn't tell me what I want to know, and as a user I can't be bothered reading it because there is no impact. Also, the logo - needs to be revised imo. It's confusing with the caption above the main logo text. Definitely an improvement overall though - steps in the right direction. It looks a lot nicer now. Just need to work on ways to differentiate titles/links and content in the main section. GL.
No offense but the layout is pretty awful and definitely not user friendly. As they say a picture speaks a thousand words. Try to use some pictures and icons so users can instantly see what different links are for. The page of text links is boring and very tedious to find what you need.
Ok ! I had a look at facebook and tried to make the paragraph smaller. What I need to know, right now, is whether the front page paragraph can dispel the confusion of first-time visitors Thanks
I think the problem is not design but the idea - too much things in one place. I really like the design and structure.
