Yes Pratap i understend what you want to say But if (example) couple people submit your own articles too many times ,you can't be a spammer then, but search engines recognized that like a spam.I know that on internet is to many websites with this problem copy paste. I just ask myself what will happend with those sites.
Ok let me say on this way.You have your own website and you want to promote him in Article directory with your original post. After some time couple of people copy and paste that text what you make and put on example: his site,article etc. I just want to say that you can't be guilty for this because other people make your own article like a spam,but your site can go in sandbox or penalized because of that work from other people who was copy and paste your own article.
Browser crolar automatic checks that particular time when you submitted and then he decide that one who can submit same content after that then its simply shows that its a duplicate content . You just try with Hub pages submission for a same content and seeing result its clear your question.

will not count spam upto some extent. even i follow this procedure when I have article for my site. but I want to mention one thing here that you should not submit your article in your website. you should write unique content for your site which is not submit in any article site. best of luck bro
No, just make that page with rel=canonical and give a reference for any site where your article exist.
