Page rank only carries cosmetic value and does not have a direct correlation with organic search engine rankings. It does become important if you are trading links but thats about it. Personally I would not be fussed with PR and concentrate more on exploring avenues to garner more qualified traffic.

i think so; it definately hels your own links for the higher your PR the better your links to other pages will be so many people will kiss your feet ;).Plus more attention by google which gives you even more chance to build a really strong site

I prefer more visitors than PR but I think PR would follow if you have lots of visitors.

PR is useless because so many people abused it. Ranking and traffic is all that matters.

Hi, the answer to your question about PR is "no".

A site does not need high PR to be successful. PR for a site has been taken too seriously by most people. PR is a way of measuring a website and/or blog so that you can compare the site to another site using the same measuring points. If one site has a higher PR rating than another, based on PR alone it will give you an idea of how the two sites compare on that one measurement.

However, there are other ways of comparing sites; so it is important to keep PR ratings in perspective. In the end, the true measure of a website and/or blog is whether it accomplishes the goals of the owner. Many sites do this with low PR scores. Also, many sites with low PR scores rank well in the search engines for keywords. Don't let a low or high PR rating bother you one way or the other; focus on the site and not the PR.

    Thanks,
    Eric
