I've been happy with the traffic I've been getting from Yahoo Search Marketing, but PPC is expensive. I notice some cheap traffic packages being sold in places like DP that claim to be AdSense-safe. Has anyone had any success buying inexpensive traffic to an AdSense site? Or, are these guys offering AdSense-safe traffic just scammers? Thanks, Scott
content is king. You are better off just having great unique content on your site and submitting great articles to article directories
"Content is king" - thats a myth. Content isnt king if you've got nobody to read it. But I wouldnt use that type of paid traffic to an adsense site, unless you really trust the person selling it to you. I think at best you'll waste your money, at worst you'll kill your adsense account.
work hard in your site and read more and more articles about ( seo .... etc ) and as jerdei said "content is the king good luck
It depends where the traffic is from. Personally, I'm not for buying traffic. There's always a chance that some of the traffic is fake or from illegal sources, which can ultimately get you banned.
How does Google know where I am getting my traffic from? What are the illegal sources of traffic? What is fake traffic? Of course I understand that buying any kind of traffic to a site does not guarantee any monetary success for the site.
There script might keep track of referral URLs. More importantly, then can tell when the traffic is of a poor quality by the behavior of people on the site. For example, if you get huge bursts of traffic of people who instantly leave your site and have exceptionally low CTRs, that will probably set off a red flag.
The same way google knows where adsense traffic comes from...its quite simple to write a script to do it
