does the site www.directorycafe.com seo-friendly?? Actually i feel it as seo friendly but on http://info.vilesilencer.com , it has been said that it is not seo friendly, can anybody check and tell me as i am newbie in this field
One quick tip Replace the _ with - http://www.directorycafe.com/Internet/Web-Directories.html How about targetting three word phrases instead? That will give you some search engine traffic as of now. I'll Add more in a while
IMO - is more sef than _, dont know the exact reason behind it, but I learned this from Experienced SEO experts.
OK the underscore _ is a character while the - is a space a separator. So one_word reads as oneword while one-word reads as one word (two separate words) take this as fact, it has been confirmed by Google but I can't be arsed to go looking for it
that is ok.. but again my question is same .. why it is not good for me to submit my site here i.e. why it is not seo friendly one more question : i came to know that www.toponlineshopping.comand www.searchwarp.com and www.riodirectory.com is also not seo friendly. plz tell me why?? these questions might appear stupid to you. but as i am very new, so expecting help
ITS USING NOFOLLOW TAGS! - I told you in my previous post, thats why you did not get accepted @ vilesilencer
SEO friendly is a much maligned phrase. In its simplest terms it means. the site can not be spidered because of the code. then it goes down to the ability to control on page elements and the linking file structure, page titles descriptions etc. In the case of the above no follow instance it means that the site is not friendly to Google. Also the use of jumplionks (out links) can make it not seo friendly with regard backlinks
thanks masetek and old welsh guy. I got the answer for directorycafe.com what is jumplinks??? and please tell me the reason for www.toponlineshopping.com and www.searchwarp.com and www.riodirectory.com my question might seeming you irritating, but plz plz plz help me
topline shopping has 163 pages listed in Google so not many pages are indexed. the out links are direct eg <a href="http://dragoncaves.bravehost.com" Who said it is not seo friendly and why? I am a bit busy at the moment so have literally spent a minute or two looking. Re: jumnplinks <a href="http://dragoncaves.bravehost.com" is a direct link as the url of the site is immediately referenced. a jumplink will likely use some other method such as jump.cgi etc. In short if the link is not directly referenceing your page then chances are it is a jump link.
thanks a lot old welsh guy.. you can reply me later in detail when you find time, i will very much appreciate if you can do that
Masetek hit the nail on the head here. This guy is using a very SEO-freindly script (PHPLD) but has chosen an option provided with the script to have NOFOLLOW tags added to all the listings. What this means is search engines will ignore all the links. If Google, Yahoo, and MSN won't recognize your link, then there is absolutely no point in submitting to such a directory. Why someone would start a directory and be afraid of actually LINKING to people is beyond me. I'll never understand crack heads.
