    Hi everybody!
I got my web site listed in google for like 2 weeks with couple pages indexed.
And now i have only my domain name listed with no description, no cache... nothing... take a look at it (type in google www.giftidias.com).
What that means? Am i Sandboxed? Or something wrong with site itself?
Also i having a problem with sitemaps - when i submiting it to google it stays for 1-2 days with OK status, and after its changed to "not found" error
sie map is easy accessible at http://www.giftidias.com/map.xml but google cant find it.... why?

Im using Joomla CMS, and i switched ON SEF support, may be something wrong with it?

How many backlinks have you built?

The sandbox will make a new site rank lower than if the same site was 2 years old.

If you have no backlinks then you will not rank highly for anything, even if you have an old site.

I suggest building loads of backlinks (release articles, submit to directories) and google will take notice and index your site.

If I search for site:www.giftidias.com I get one result with a perfect description.

I suggest having a little more patience with google.

You are probably querying a different google datacenter.

For the indexing problem. I've actually seen that in the results for quite a few of my pages. They'll get indexed and then just turn into those plain links with no content, but then they'll usually get re-indexed again. I think it might happen for pages that don't get updated often and that Google isn't spidering often... usually the best thing to do is just wait and it'll get crawled and the content will get indexed and start showing in the results again.

For the sitemap thing, have you tried renaming your sitemap to sitemap.xml? I can't remember if you have to name it that or not, but it might be worth a try.

Oh, also, I've found that site age also has an effect on how often Google spiders your site, so the best thing to do is usually just let Google do what it wants to do and concentrate on building your site content and making it as useful as possible to people.

If you search for the site in its .com form, then you don't get any description, just the link - its normal for Google
