    Hello there,

I am going to ask very serious question here, someone asked me on internet chatting to provide my merchant ac to him to receive payment from his client internationally and in return he will give me 10$ profit from net amount credited to my bank ac from merchant ac. However only I would have full control of my merchant ac and he does not need my merchant ac password to see activity of my ac.

My question Is it safe to provide my own merchant ac to third party to receive their payment from customer?

    Thanks.

The merchant account is on your name, therefore every payment is done on your name. It is NOT safe to provide your own a/c to third party as it makes you liable for any transaction, which can be illegal. If it's illegal, you are the one who bears the consequences, as it is on your name.

It is quite safe as long as you don't share the login credentials or any sort of access. But think of the tax which is levied on you. I believe it'll be much more than $10 :D which you'll get. Though if you're sure that you won't need to pay any tax it is still not safe. you must know the person sending and receiving payment or you might get into some legal trouble.
