Not anyone can donate blood, tests are made on every candidate, they never take any risk. However, some people may not undergo the operation but accidents are exceptionnal.
I've donated blood before and it is 100% safe, they use a steralized needle that is only used once (on you). You'll feel a little woozy for about a half hour (I did) but then your body makes up for the lost blood in around 15 minutes!
Yea but after you do you need to wait a certain amount of days before the next time you give or it could deter your health.

I have donated blood about every 8-12 weeks since I turned 17 I lost count of how many times ive donated it feels good to give blood it seems like it gives you more Energy the next day and you feel less tired. So go right ahead and donate some blood I bet you will feel good about it afterward.
