Is it safe to donate blood? Every time when I want to donate blood, I think of this question. I am afraid of being infected with some diseases.

Yes, it is safe. The needle is sterile, used only once and then safely discarded, so there is no chance of infection.

Well, if you are healthy and without any disease you can donate it without any problem.
And you won't get infected as the people in Hospital use new needles every time. :D
    So, donate blood.

You wont get infected. The people know what they are doing, and will make sure that you will have no problems. There's more chance of the person recieving the blood to be infected than you. Even then, there is a tiny chance that could happen.

Donating blood is safe and it's an act of benevolence. There's no chance being infected by diseases if the blood donation process carried out by well-coordinated blood transfusion services.

Good luck. Keep doing the good thing :).

It is safe but you should have something in mind. I donated 2 times in my life and I'm still fine. Just remember not to drink alcohol and to eat more chocolate :)

Blood donation is good for your blood circulation, as know that our blood will "die" after 3 days, and the new blood will be created. However, if you are sick or lack of blood, then you are not suitable to donate blood

It is 100% safe. It even helps you clean out your blood. And you can help at the same time :)

PS: Also it makes you more whiter :p

I think it is safe. But you should not give blood in Africa because of same needle for everybody.

It should be safe. It depends on the clinic, of course, but 99% of the are 100% safe. And from a health aspect, donating blood is healthy for you.
