Is It Right That Server Move To Xenforo?

I am not happy with your reason. "It has great framework" neither it has speed fast.

I am not going to loose my eyes or pain the headache. Fonts are not normal here. Website is loading slowly, everybody knows. As well website move to "https". Something looks strange , a simple forum uses the "https".

DigitalPoint isn't a "simple forum", is one of the biggest on the internet. Also on the forum you can make payment transactions thru PayPal api and I think it is important for a ssl certificate to be present so therefore the https:// . The forum loads faster, its more beautiful with the Xenforo UI and its more secure than before. What do you want more ?

    Kudos for DP Staff!

Although not incredibly important, I would prefer to have SSL in place than not to have it, so I suppose I don't see the issue with that. I haven't done any benchmarks but perhaps its better for the server load or other reasoning behind the change. I also prefer the newer UI to the older, things are located slightly differently but once I get used to it, it's all good.

So to answer your question if it's right to move it to that platform or not, is something that will be based on personal preference per individual plus any other reasoning behind why DP may have made the switch.

There is actually a reason we went to SSL only beyond just security. Obviously the security part is good, but using SSL allows us to utilize the SPDY protocol for browsers that support it (currently Chrome, Firefox and Opera). This is the same protocol that Google and Twitter use.

You can read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPDY

I'm not happy about the lack of dislike button.

Speaking of like/dislike buttons...with this new layout, where is the like button to begin with?! I'm assuming this is similar to previously when you could add "rep" to a post, but I can't find how to "like" individual posts.

It's in the post footer... if you can't see it, it means you aren't allowed to use it yet (not everyone can).
