Is it right? Negative iTrader for no money invloved?

Hi,
This morning is really surprising to me. I opened my account and saw someone throwing stones on my profile page. It was a negative iTrader, I looked at the thread and user which generated the negative iTrader. He is one the DP members whom I adviced and told the difficulties one faces in setting up online business through "setting up a website and earning through advertisments"
I think I didn't do anything wrong, its my habit to advice people and I thought it would be nice to advice him before hand and let him realize the phase we all have gone through.
But to my surprise that guy took it as insult to his business!

I wont post further details about the incident, but would like to know that do I really deserve that negative iTrader for giving advice which puts the other member in state of insult! If yes, then sorry somehow we all are supporting sensitive member s who can't unserstand constructive criticism.

please let me know there was no money involved, neither the deal was started nor did he or I accepted the deal. And afterwards he threw negative iTraders on me.
It has been my personal experience and I think it must have been with many of you that a buyer keeps you hanging on long chats, sending you tens of PMs and you even gave him demo. But after a week or so he suddenly disappears!
I never gave a negative iTrader to those members since there was no money involved and they did what they say.It was clear they are no more interested.

I don't know what that member wants from me by giving negative iTrader. I simply don't understand. If you guys know let me know also.
Did I loot his money? Did I steal his data from his server? Did I hung him long for the project to be finalized? No I think I adviced him to take precautions in business and he took it as insult.

 

No itrader can be given without trade or deal above $5+,what he has done its called "itrader abuse" ,contact any moderator and they will look into it,may even ban the member who gave u itrader.

Also u should have posted this is suggestion and feedback forum.

I never knew that "suggestion and feedback forum" ever existed, I am always stuck to Buy, Sell or Trade forum.
This is silly but how do I contact moderators?

 

Are you sure about your habit?, I think you need to change it. Everyone has a brain of his own, you should not disregard any ideology just because you think it's not right!

The "my way or the highway thing" portrays an aggressive business approach, it can backfire! (like it did for you)

As far as the Itrader goes, you should complain about it to the mods. eriod:

 

No its not right, contact a mod about this. iTraders should only be left when actual transactions have occured.

 

You are indeed right! After this incident I'll take precautions and change my habit.

Edit: Allright I got it, there is an option to leave a feedback or report to mods just to the right of itrader statment.

 

First of all, this is a wrong section. Kindly report it to MODS. Secondly as you say, IF there was NO transaction involved (regardless of money) then the person CANNOT give you ANY itrader, be it positive of negative. iTrader is for TRADE which might involve or might not involve money.

So all you have to do is report about to this to any mod and he will surely ban that guy. If you have noticed, while giving iTrader it's written that "If you haven't made this deal then your account at this forum stands suspended/banned." or something like that

So just report it to mod and refrain from posting in wrong section to avoid infractions!
