Is it really worth to protect our blog posts?

Protecting our blog posts from illegal copyright can be done by using Creative Commons and the like, and I used it before on my blogspot blogs. However, I forgot to use it on my WP blog. I was about to install it now, but one question pop up into my mind.

Is it really worth the effort to protect our blog posts using any existing system? Come to think of it, our blog posts can still be copied by anyone who wishes to, unless there is a site that I do not know that can prevent from stealing a post 100% effective.

Millions of money is being spend to win the battle against piracy in the entertainment industry, but haven't succeed until now. If this is so, how much more for blog posts.

So what do you think? Are you using one today?

Hope to get valuable point of views.

    Thanks!

No content thief worth his salt is going to pay any attention to a creative commons or copyright notice. There are a few things I do like this and this, but no matter what you do, you cant protect yourself 100%..

I read your post about the sitemap thing, and I will find time to read it carefully. But then, thanks for this as I think it will be very helpful
