    Advertising (learn more)

    Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

    Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Is it really working?

    Hello Coopers,

    Just finished to set up the Ad Network for http://www.costaricaforums.com/, used the Auto Validate and got the “Ads appear to be live on your site (as of 2004-10-31).” message, and the ads are showing and rotating.

    It looks like everything is working just fine. However, I didn’t complete the setup instructions, specifically the step #5, as I didn’t find in the index.php file the lines:

    <div class="pagebody">
    <?php

    Therefore I didn´t add the lines:

    include ('ad_network.php');
    echo $ad_network[0];

    Therefore, my question is:

    Is it really everything working, or missing that step makes the setup incomplete and is not working, even though it looks like it is.

    It's a random spot check to make sure it's on all pages. My best suggestion would be to finish the setup, otherwise you will be automatically pulled from the rotation when it revalidates and cannot find ads on certain pages.

    I would have finished the setup, but as I said, I didn´t find:

    <div class="pagebody">
    <?php

    I did find <?php , but not the <div class="pagebody">

    Just tell me where to put the lines:

    include ('ad_network.php');
    echo $ad_network[0];

    And I´ll put them right away.

    Thanks.

    You can put it anywhere on the page you want actually... can put it at the end if you want.
