I am loving the posts here, lots of good info - It would be good if people read the whole post as well though. Some input does seem to be missing the main point
Hi Stuart, You make a good point here, but I'm afraid you'll need to get used to it - the longer a thread plays out, the greater the tendency for it to wander off-topic. To answer the question you posed in your initial post, I'd say "yes and no". Yes, it's possible to make money by putting up "junk" or MFA (Made-For-AdSense) sites, but they will never earn money long-term, and also create the risk of having your AdSense account banned. No, it's not possible to create long-term income, or repeat visitors, with these types of sites. So the answer really depends on your goals. HTH, Sam
I always wander of. I find that you read a whole tread and once you do that you reply to it. Then about a few hours or days later someone else replies. No if I want to comment again, I don't want to read the whole tread again to remind my self exactly what it was about so I only scan quicly throught the last few posts instead and then reply if I think that my post will be helpful.
Well said. I'm really tired of going to a site like this only to find out it's has nothing but a bunch of adsense or similar ad links. And as an adsense user I feel they do nothing but hurt those of us with ligitimate content sites that we work hard to make useful for our readers. The more people go to bogus sites and see a boatload of ads disguised as "related" links and searches, the more people get turned off by them, which translates into poor CTR because people are suspicious of the ads. Like you, I'm also tired of these ads on my site. If you go to any of the ads on your site (I don't mean clicking on them, of course, rather typing in the address manually) and many of the ads just take you to some site that's one big advertisement, that's it. No wonder my CTR has gone down quite a bit from the first days my site went live. People wise up quickly.
well if i could get 1,000,000 in 10 days or 100 for 12 months i get a million. if this site gets 80,000,000 page views a day with atleast a 1% CTR with only a .10 CPC thats 80,000 a day! 2.4 mil a month and 29.2 mill a year, but they prob. spend about 100,000 a month on adwords.
Even if they spend $100,000 a month on adsense. That is like peanuts if they are making $80,000 a day. They cover their costs in just over 1 day.
The best thing to do is report sites like these. It will only benefit the reputation of AdSense to get rid of MFA sites.
It thought that 8bestsites guy was right here on DP. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=80170&highlight=8bestsites
there is no such thing as easy money. But you can earn fast money (that is good money but in (and for) short time) by exploiting a niche. Blogging needs lots of hard word - good content, site promotion, social networking and keeping up to date with the technology, not to mention sleepless nights that goes into tweeking your adsense look and site designs.
You need to put cashflow into consideration Remember, adsense cheque does not arrive on time to help you clear your debt on adword. And also, I believe that google don't give you unlimited account where you can spend as much as you like until they know you can pay for it! How much money do you need to spend on adword for that 2.4 visits? Adsense is not an easy money.
I appreciate that lot of people are joined Web sapce and have their pretty good websites, but it doesn't mean that you get earnings in weeks, you need patience Need dedication to your Website or Work Attentive towards your Visitors and hat they need Work for them not for earnings Then i sure you get any Platform to publish ads on your website which may be Adsense!
There are many factors you should consider while you come with Adsense. Social media traffic must be less than that of organic traffic. It is mandatory that your website or blog should compile with Adsense Terms and conditions. So create some thing new content and rock with Adsense earnings. All the best mate
