Yes. Try adding quality content and then submitting your article to digg, mixx or propeller. You should get indexed within 48 hours.
Yes as soon as you start a site and the domain has resolved and you add some content. You can use a mixture of good anchor text links on a high PR site. And sit there using bookmark sites and social traffic and get on a good bunch of link directories and submit a bunch of articles and do blog guest posting and article submitting. And a myriage of other white and black hat seo tactics and ideas. Yes you can get a site fully indexed in Google and other search engines within 24/48 hours. Especially with a good keyword domain. mesothelioma.com for example. Oh it's taken already. However doing all that and getting PR1 within 24/48 as well as being indexed is a different matter. Google doesn't update it's Page Ranks on a daily basis. It updates every quarter. I believe the next update is soon.
Why are they? If its a directory with good PR and google counts it and attributes some of that PR to you with a good anchor link. Why is that worthless? If directories are worthless why are there so many of them and ones like Dmoz and why do so many people use them if so? I thought the best thing any marketer could do is submit to a bunch of good link directories with the right anchor text and do article submisson to get indexed by google. While I know you can pay to get into some directories, Yahoo for example, you don't need to, to get indexed by Google within a 24 hours. Are you making a statement based on experience or are you the ultimate seo agent? If the later then drop me a pm and let me know your rates
Its common sense. 99% of directories out there are just plain old link farms. Sure the homepage may have decent pagerank, but if you check the pages where your link ends up, its usually a PR-0. Furthermore, directories get spammed massively, especially by all those noobs who think they are 'oh-so-valuable', and there are be hundreds of links on most directory pages. If you know anything about SEO, you know that link juice is divided by the number of links on the page, so in a sub-page of a directory with hundreds of links with little or no PR, do you really think that will have a noteworthy effect, if any effect at all? Like I said, only a select few (DMOZ [if u can ever get into that], Yahoo, BOTW, etc.[which are Paid]) are really the only ones that can positively affect your rankings.
I know two options to indexed by Google within 24 hours: 1) Submit your sitemap to Google Webmasters and your posts to other Social Websites. 2) Try commenting on inactive PR6 and up sites, using your website anchor text as your username and a link to your site (Username / URL option). I'm using the first option which works great for me. Sometimes, your niche and topic play an important role to be indexed by Google. Better make a good research on it first before creating a site.
What is the question? indexed by google or get 1st page of google ? But both are very possible. before submitting to google, make sure you have a correct keywords prominence, density etc.
till then you don't see a "Cache" link in SERPs for that page. Also, after the page is cached rankings do change and you may not rank well for the same thereafter.
His question was about getting included in the search results. And the answer is YES. Check out my acai berry website in my sig. It's just been 2 days and it's already there on google: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=site:acaiberryfruits.info&aq=f&aqi=&fp=7b823cb19394de08
Well i am an absolute newbie...so please excuse if i sound stupid...i like to know some details about backlinks...which one is better PR2/PR5/PR5...i mean what do i need to look when i am building/buying backlinks....also does oneway link helps ?
How to get indexed within 1-2 days: put a link on your sig, participate in recent threads here in DP or submit to Digg. How to rank no.1: only possible for long-tail keywords like what lifeplayer said.
Its possible as long as you're not using competitive keywords. Less competitor, higher chances of getting into top rankings.
Exactly, they'll even tease you by ranking it no. 1, but a day later it's nowhere to be found on the top 10 pages
