Is it really necessary to pay subscription money to paid forums for SEO ?

hi folks,

I recently landed on a webpage which reviewed different forums and its usefulness for the users, one of which was webmastersworld forum. When I tried to visit it asked for subscription fees of $89 for 6 months and $ 149 for 1 year. I am frequently visiting here in digital point forum and really gained good knowledge over past few months.

I would like to have opinions from senior and successful members that is it really necessary to shell out subscription money? Do they offer anything more than what we have here in Digital Point?

Your inputs will be greatly appreciated.

i wouldn't pay it,, you can find some great SEO info here as well as other forums, or websites

 

Webmasterworld is actually free you just need to hit the right page and not the subscription page.

No probs, its not the first time someone has questioned the signup.

 

If you're making money off SEO and use WMW a lot, you might pay though, keeping forums like that in the shape they're in is quite hard and requires money. I for one am glad to pay the subscription and not be bothered with annoying ads.

Actually present ratings say, that DP is number SEO forum.Even if u pay huge no other forum can give us good info "freeware rules".
