Is it really good to use Wordpress as E-Commerce Applications ??

    I see most of guys these days are starting to implement wordpress as ecommerce applictions do you think it is a good idea?

    If it's a a single product you're selling, sure. For some more complex functionality check out magento.

    It depends on how indepth you want to go. Some of the plugins for wordpress can make for a really powerful cart, but if you only want to use for it for e-commerce, then it's easier to stick with a cart script, since when wordpress updates the core, you need to update the core, and possibly plugin updates and theme updates etc, but if you need seperate pages etc aswell or an alongside blog, wordpress works in your favour.
