Is it really all about content?

If I put great unique content into my posts, will that really lead to greater traffic? How will anybody know about my blog even if it has solid content?

 

And you run a site about earning a living online?

 

It is a relatively new site, I had 106 uniques yesterday. I have been putting on solid content for 4 days and I am hoping for traffic to steadily increase

 

Because you will rank higher in google. Good, unique, content is what the SEs are after.

 

And the more content you have the more longtail traffic you'll get.

it is about 80% content, if you just create good content and don't do anything to get traffic besides that then no, that won't increase your traffic much.

But it's good to have unique content for when your viewers hit your site. If you create some good content in the form of articles and post them on hubpages, squidoo and ezinearticles, then yes the content will increase your traffic if you use the right keywords and tags.

 

I agree that it's "all" about the content, but you must know that it takes time to get traffic from content alone. If you are in a hurry, you should also do other kinds of marketing.

But if you are like me, and have all the time in the world (lol), then you don't need to worry.

Content is king, but it takes time...

I agree, unique and quality content is key. It take a bit longer but in the long run it works best. Even when I create site that I sell I make sure they have unique content. Good luck with your blog

Yes Gud content is must but dont forget to optimize those pages.
