I heard that Bush is going pay back 600$ per person , but they have to spend that money not collect or not pay their debts. As I heard Bush is going to pay 100 bln $ by this way. Is it real ? And how will this affect economy ?
Sure, he can even pay $6000, it is just asking Bernanke to print more money. The nett effect is more money chasing after the same amount of goods = Inflation.
The above is correct. He is not "making you" spend the money on other things, he is just counting on that. We will see what happens, I am probably going on vacation with the $1800 I will be recieving. Thanks Bush.
Exactly, printing more money never solves anything. All i does is decrease the value of the dollar, which we really can't afford to do. The Euro has already passed us as the best currency, and if we aren't careful it is going to end up replacing the dollar as the reserve currency, which will cost us a lot of money.
