Well guys just curious, Just by typing a query in Google we can see where our link is place by specific site.

Well to elaborate more, For example in doing a couple of link exchange. So I tried emailing them, so after a week with no response i want to check wether they place my link or not.
Is there a specific query that i can type in the search box in google? To find wether they have place my link or not in that specific URL?

I dont have any software for this, thats why im asking this :)

I need your comments regarding this guys... thanks :)

There may be a better way, but one way is to use this query:

    "your anchor text" site:www.theirsite.com

..if you know the anchor text they will be using to link to you. This relies on the page with your link on being cached, and finds all pages in their site that has "your anchor text" in the content.

You should try the command in MSN to check most prudent results.
