Blimey - you'd have to have a heck of a lot of traffic to it! It would also depend on the niche of course. If each click is gonna generate you more than $1.00 it will not take as much traffic as one that generates $0.05 per click.

Also, you'd have to consider how you are gonna promote the blog and whether you are going to do it organically or pay for advertising.

But - I would say - anything is possible!!!

i am going to promote it organically. i would say clicks range from $0.50 - $0.80 a click. however, i would need alot of traffic.

That would need to be the most popular blog on the planet.

That's 250,000 clicks per day at $.20 per click. If you get a 2% CTR, then you'd need 12,500,000 page views per day.

You would need a really "good keyword" blog, dealing with FOREX or refis or something.

In this world everything is possible, if you have confidence, patience, skills, hardwork etc.. get good niche as said around $1/click keepup good informative postings, position well adsense code to get high CTR and don't expect get it that over in a month or even in a year too.. but still its possible, patience and hardwork is the key..

You may want to look at the goal a different way. Since you are talking about a single blog you will undoubtedly would have to have enourmous amounts of traffic with a decent click through rate to generate that kind revenue from AdSense alone if you are getting your traffic organically.

Truth be told, the amount of traffic necessary to genarte that type of revenue from AdSense may be worth more to you if you use CPM advertising.

Take a look at TechCrunch.com. They are generateing over 2 million page views from 1 million unique visitors per month. They use AdSense, however, the bulk of their revenue is made from 6 CPM Ad blocks which sell for $10,000 a piece per month.

Well that and I think you would have to worry about being smartpriced.. That will dramatically drop down what you will be getting for a click.
