Is it possible to verify PAYPAL account with prepaid gift VISA CARD ??

When u get this gift card u need to activate it,and in the process of activation, you need to put all the info you want.

Can this card be used for above purpose..cause it have every thing on it,ie money, name ,your address.....cvv no...and a good expiration date, but you cannot reload this card .:)....and you can use this card to perches online and worldwide where visa is supported :)

Depends what country you picked at the beginning of your paypal registration.

Well, it may work but if Paypal ask for your credit card statement, you might be at a lost there.

If the gift card comes from the bank who has determine that you have provided accurate information then I believe it may work. Because the whole purpose of verification is not about just going through the motions but rather paypal use your bank's determination if you are a real purpose with a good credit history.

I would think there are some minor differences. Both Prepaid and Gift Cards would have to be pre-loaded.

From what I understand is that a typical prepaid card is assigned to a specific person, typically the one who apply it and thus there is some form of bank verification. They are also typically reloadable.

A Gift Card on the other hand is as the name described, it is used to be as a form of gift which means it would typically the one who buys it would not be the one who uses it. These type of cards typically may not contain a persons name but just a card number. It is typically transferable and typically cannot be preloaded. It is useful if you want to buy someone a gift but do not know what to buy that person so the gift card allows that person to spend as he likes. It is pretty much like a gift voucher but a gift voucher is typically tied in to a store while a gift card is not. It may be used only in the country of issue.
