hello, I still couldnt find the place where you could upload new themes. Is there something like this for a free WP blog? I am talking about finding a wp template and uploading it to my free wp blog. thanks and regards
What do you mean by a free WP blog? A blog hosted on your server with software you downloaded from word press for free? A blog hosted on wordpress.com? A blog hosted on somebody elses copy of Wordpress MU? If the first example is true, the upload is available from the themes tab In the second example - the upload is disabled by wordpress.com. you have to use the ones the provide. In the third example it depends on the site owner. I run two copies of MU, one allows themes, one doesn't
If you really need a theme different than what WP.com provides, it isn't very difficult at all to install you own copy of wordpress.

well, why do they offer free hosting? I mean there must be a catch or at least something that will benefit them, like this website http://www.hostrator.com/. but even if they are free I would need to buy a domain, right?
Many webhosts offer WP via cPanel, it's as simple as a one click installation, and as mentioned this allows you to use WP themes. Dee
wrong! these are simply subdomains, its not the same! why should i use them instead of wordpress subdomains? there is no reason.
If you are using wordpress.com, you can only use provided themes, if you don't pay. Free hosting is just a method of promotion. You wanna better services? Be a consumer!
