Is It Possible To Transfer Hosting Accounts?

I am having all sorts of problems with my hosting of late.
    • poor understanding of English
    • poor problem solving ability (for 3 days they have been constantly disabling my WP plugins directory ridiculously saying that plugins are causing the server problems)
    • poor response speed
    • Sunday holiday
I am considering to transfer the hosting to another company that hates these things if this is technically possible.

Sure, it's very easy to do. Most hosts will make the transfer for you, or it's simply a matter of backing up the databases, and re-uploading those and your files to the new host's server. Then you change the IP addresses for your domain's nameservers.

That said, it's not ridiculous for a host to say that your WP plugins or WP in general is causing server problems. WP is one of the most common causes for server issues these days, in a shared environment. Non-optimized WP sites, or WP sites using a lot of plug-ins can absolutely cause server loads/issues/etc.

If both the current host and new host have cPanel control panel , then you can it possible. Some hosts give free transfer facility even the control panel is not cPanel.
Usually when you are signing up for a web host as a new customer, you will get free web site transfer from them.

You can transfer, but are you sure that your next hosting company would not do the same?

There are many companies offer free cPanel transfer. Select your company and ask them about free cpanel transfer. They can transfer your account without loss any data.

Poor English and response sounds like valid problems. You should check their TOS to see if your WP plugins are violating their terms. Maybe they are consuming resources.

Of course it is possible to transfer hosts. Many hosting companies offer free cPanel migration services to their clients - just surf around their website or ask about it. Good luck with your host!

Yes many will do this free of cost for you. but since its a shared hosting, you need to check with the TOS of new hosting company...

A single hosting account can easily migrated to another server as well. As usually, the good knowlegde technician can take moving from DirectAdmin, cPanel or ISPConfig to new server faster.
