Is it possible to track the IP address in GA

    I was asked to track the IP addresses of the visitors. I want to know is it possible to track the IP address of the visitors through Google analytic? Please suggest.

    GA won't give you that information due to privacy issues. You can filter out an IP address or range of IP addresses, but you can't get them in your results.

    What is your boss trying to learn? Maybe city information would work?

    No,dear google does not show IP addresses .It tracked IPs but you can't see them.You can only filter the IP addresses.

    There's no question of google showing of ip address....
