Is it possible to test an Adsense Ad?

    I have a web designer in the final stages of building a website for me. I have integrated Adsense into the site. My designer made a change to the banner ad. She made it into a responsive banner ad. Since then I am unsure if the ad is recording clicks. I got a friend of mine to do a one time click into the ad. But this click wasnt picked up in my adsense account.

    I dont want clicking on the ad myself but is there any way to test if an ad is working correctly? My designer has said there is no problems but I an unsure and would like to get confirmation!

    I know you can ad this as the first line of code in the AdSense ad code:

    google_adtest = “on”;

    It puts the ad into test mode and it doesn't count the impressions or clicks for income.

    That's all I have ever seen as far as testing.
