Is it possible to target Adsense to individual posts?

IHi, and thanks in advance,

need to get more targeted adsense diplayed within my posts.

I have an authority blog that is maximized for say... improving self esteem. Now I have a post that is about how to get registered on a dating site. My adsense block within the post will show self esteem ads, not dating site ads which would be more relevant for that post.

Is there a way to bracket Googles attention to that post so it will display more relevant ads within that post?

I am using WP blog, thesis theme and apply specific keywords and relevant tags, all in one seo etc in each post, but the overall theme of the site continues to dictate the adsense displayed and override the topic of the post.

My most popular entry pages are often on loosely related topics, therefor showing irrelevat ads to the arriving visitor because the specific post topic is only tangentally related to the overall blog theme.

Any ideas?

I would say try to have your meta keywords pretty target on. if its a forum im sure theres a mod to put keywords on posts . check for meta tag hacks for wp if you want to. or add them manually.
