    Is it possible to stream video files though https?


    I used EMBED tag.it works if URL is http .

    I have checked it in 2 browers


    a. IE(Windows media player) --http and https works
    b. IE(REAL player) --https not working

    a. FIREFOX(Windows media player) --https not working
    b. FIREFOX(REAL player) --https not working

    IS there any solution to make this work?

    Windows Media Services do not support streaming over HTTPS. If you want to encrypt the traffic VPN might be a good choice.

    Which files are you trying to stream ? flv mp4 etc work just fine.

    You should think about using http instead of https. You will not have any problem in future.
