Is it possible to remove spam comments at one stroke?

    Hi,

    I am having a blog on Cat Health Care. I didn't notice the comment box for the past couple of months. Just now noticed that the box is filled with 8800 spam comments. I find difficult to remove the comments manually. (It is really disgusting..) I am using wp 1.0. Is there any way to remove all the comments in a single stroke?

    The only way to clear them all quickly would be through your MySQL database. Log in to the comments table, sort on "0" for comment approved and check off "delete all".
