it totally depends on your internet marketing skill level and experience. consider buying a keyword tool like niche finder.

google.com/sktool is pretty handy as well, specially if you are looking to find out your competitors site's keywords.
Hmm... interesting Oranges. How is this different from the Google External Keyword Tool? Oh actually, I just tried it out... hmmm... I quite like it. Thanks for suggesting this to me Oranges! Cheers, -Johnson.

First, look for these use phrases that aims for a simple keyword such as design is not only going to take along time to achieve but statistics show that around 80% of searches are now compromising of 3 or more words, e.g. web design London. Then, the Relevant Keywords, these keywords that you want to aim for should be relevant to your business and your website’s content. Then, those people would search, this means you should try to anticipate what your potential customers will search for to find your business. Lastly, the Keywords. Though there are man proponents of keyword research tools, I think that the Google External Keyword Tool is better than the rest. But that is from the point of view of accuracy of data. There are keyword tools out that significantly speed up the keyword research process.
I personally think Google Keyword tool is even better than most paid seo software, because Google has all the info, other seo software just try to guess the numbers. But even if it`s Google, it isn`t 100% accurate
There are a lot of different keyword tools out there and many of them are worthless unless you know how to properly administer keyword research. I would have to say Google's keyword tool has to be among one of the most widely used. The trick with all keyword tools is to use your best keyword research practices in order to gain the upper hand in that specific strategy. Get used to using googles keyword tool and then get familiar using other tools just to open your mind on all the different aspects of keyword research.
I certainly think its possible, but having tools that suggest further idea's and combinations in my opinion make the experience a little shorter, otherwise it gets a bit boring after a while!
You can try with Google keyword tool and sk tool. They both are best tool for the keyword research. I personally used that tools.Google keyword tool provides Global Monthly Searches volume, Local Searches volume, Local Search Trends and Competition also.
All the keyword tools provide an approximate overview of the search density. Yes, there is some difference in each of them. We can compare and analyse the closest keywords with similar numbers and can rely on the search density. You can go for Google Trends. It is quite close to accuracy and has a lot of filters and features that'll help you finalise your targeted keywords and your campaign.
man its better to use google keyword suggestion tool.I recommend you not to use highly targetted keyword.Try some average keywords to get good traffic
