I have used RV site builder to design my website. I am not a person with any technical knowhow. I now like to redesign my website using wordpress. But there are some potential problems. 1. I have pagerank for deep urls. I dont like to change the existing url because of the fear of losing pagerank. Is it possible. If I can receive an answer to this question I would hand over the project immediately. Do we have some one who will answer the question.
Do you own your URL or is it something.wordpress.com? If you own the URL you will be able to change the design without effecting the page rank of certain posts as long as you keep them in the same place. However, even if you do own your own URL, it would most likely be a huge project to convert a RV Sitebuilder theme/ design to be wordpress friendly.
the good thing about wordpress like most new sites...its css based so you can add a new stylesheet and change the look but keep everything else the same, especially your uri...if you dont know how to do it, you can always hire someone...even me ...ps it wouldn't be that hard if you had a visual design already laid out
