I have four CD package Fedora linux distribution in ISO format. FC3-i386-disc1.iso FC3-i386-disc2.iso FC3-i386-disc3.iso FC3-i386-disc4.iso Instead of wasting four CDs in burning, i want to make a boot DVD from abovesaid four images. what can i do? Is it possible to merge iso images into one?
Until someone with more knowledge posts up for you, there is a way. You can use a program like Winmount and then mount each image file/ISO to a separate virtual drive. Then you just copy the files from each virtual drive into a folder you create on your HD. Go to the folder, open it and create an ISO from the files in the folder. You will now have a new ISO file with the combined files from your four separate ISO's. To test it before burning it, just mount the new single ISO and then install the program. If it works from the new ISO you know you will be able to run it from a disk as well. IH
i think magic iso can do this for you , I use it for something similar but long time ago, so just read it's help file for further details. First of all you have to extract the content of the images , and then to make a new image , or maybe now has the posibility to do this easier! Best regards
You can extract all contents from 4 ISO files and then create another ISO file using Nero or FolderISO.
