This would be an immensly (spello!) useful feature. I started off having diff channels for different pages. Now I have so many sites I want to reduce these channels into one. Any ideas Jamie
Create Channels instead of URL channels, and then out the channel ID in all those you wanna merge. Should do the trick... if that's what you ask...
When I started with AdSense I didn't know what I was doing so first I created a url channel, and then I had to create a channel because I couldn't change the colors on a url channel (at least I can't find it anywhere) Now Google reports both the url channel and the channel I have on my site and I have been trying to figure out which clicks I get paid for. Emailing google about it just makes me more confused since they say that some click was reported for the url channel, some for the channel and some for both so I can't keeo track of how much I am supposed get because adding the url channel and the channel doesn't work. The reports, if I choose to show both for a date then they are almost twice the amount than the aggregate amount... Can I just remove the URL channels?
Yes, (remember to update sites) and you can use the Channel to rename the URL channels. Just check Google help, al I know I read that, if it doesn't work allow 2-3 days to perform tests. If it's really that messy, remove all channels, start from scratch and then update your sites.
