Making $5 or more from websites is very much possible but it will require hard work plus lot of waiting. But why not make much more than that via working at freelance sites? You can earn that much [$5] via writing just one simple article? That will take just few minutes of your time.
Yea adsense is a good bet, failing that you could offer some basic services like article/directory/social bookmarking submitting service.

You could purchase a site that is already earning $5 a day. It would require obviously a large initial capital outlay but save hours and hours of time.
Probably you should stop searching for ways to make money, and start working on those that u already know. For instance pick adsense as many suggested. Create a site with unique content, promote it, and you will see as traffic comes money also come. The idea is that you can make $5/day with adsense, don't look for other ideas to make money and start working on this one.
i am a newbie here , but can still give a few good ideas , i had a blog , a few months ago . it was on blogger . the only way i would make cash from it was adsense . and even my daily earning was about 20 cents . but then i changed the colours , and the layout . Made them pink , orange . Added a lot of content that was hot with google trends . used bmd . And which ever word said "money " added a hyperlink on them to my affiliate link . thats it , there were days , that i made 3-4 dollars , but as we know , blogger dosent do that well on seo , i am now switching onto wp . hope that helped .............. thanks
There are plently of easy ways to make $5 a day online.....building a site is a good start. I wouldn't go the PPC route, you will loose to much money. Without going into a great deal of detail just do a google search that says "Make Money writing Articles." It's easy and you can make $5 a day in a heartbeat.

Definitely look into the freelancer websites as suggested by other members. It can be tough to acquire your first few customers because your lack of reviews. I recommend you create samples of your work and put them on an attractive looking website.
