Is it possible to make some $ from keyword SERP checkers.

My friend Judy asked me to combine some SEO tools to help customers to track their requested keywords.

The tool we want to design can auto-search keywords and auto-create SERP reports for each members.

But we do not know :: Are web-masters going to pay for the services and reports?

We really need your opinions or experiences.

    Thanks

It really all depends on rather they want some simple reports or if they want real expert service. There's definatly money to be made in generating high grade professional results with precise detail that would better guide them to use thier keywords more efficiently.

I don't think i will pay for it coz i can get free tool to do this.
And for the report,i will pay for it coz sometimes it very hard to interpret what the tool have said.
I would say $50-$100 for the report is the reasonable price

Well there's 2 ways that I've seen done for said reports on various services.

    1) You can sell a one-time report.

    2) You can have them subscribe for a monthly free.

The one-time report is the easiest and quickest way, but it's called "one-time" for good reason. It's non-recurring for the customer. Monthly subscription is a way to keep them in your service, however it would mean constant reporting and scripts to generate said reports are necessary.

Pick your poison, but a good customer service team and phone number are a must in either scenario.
