Is it possible to make a lot of money with blogspot?

So...almost every post i have read about the topic of "WP versus Blogspot" says that WP (wordpress.org with a payed hosting) is the way to go if you want to make a living blogging because of the SEO and the professional look that this platform gives you.
My question is..Is it possible to make a lot of money with a website that uses blogspot? Or is a lost cause?

PD: Example of "a lot of money": $3000 a month using Adsense

Is it possible to make a lot of money with Blogspot hosted blog? Yes. Is it probable? Not even a little bit.


If you are trying to make money online, you need to own your own domain name and have paid hosting. I cannot stress this point enough. If you are trying to make money online you have to think of yourself as a business. If you host your business on a free host, Blogspot or otherwise, you aren't really a business, but, part of another companies business model.

Wordpress.org does offer benefits beyond Blogspot, however, if you are set on using blogspot, do so with your own paid hosting and domain name.

 

Yes, if you have more traffic & more clicks. You need to work hard to achieve this.

It's all about traffic. Traffic = money. You can get just as much traffic to a blogspot blog as a Wordpress one, I've seen people do it. Learn marketing and get traffic. it is not about a script but how optimized your blog in the search engine i had a friend who's making money on adsense on his blogspot blog but it will add credibility to your online presence if you are using a top level domain and wordpress script these do go together and a perfect ingredients

It's not impossible. But before you could gain such amount which is considerably huge, you have to work with it. But again, it is best to use WordPress because it's SEO friendly especially when it is collaborated with SEO plugins.
