It's possible to make 5 million, 10 million, 1 billion in a year. However, Internet Marketing WON'T make you a million dollars in your FIRST year. It takes time, determination and MONEY. It's like any business, you usually have to invest money to make money.

 

Thank you for all your advice and support. So far my results are minimal. My site's been running since May 2010 and I've made around $40.00 from Adsense, $2.00 from GumGum picture advertising (which I removed later since it's not worth it) and the highest bid on the Elephant is at $350.00. It seems pretty obvious that all my efforts should go towards marketing my painting which I am doing. As I always keep saying to myself "Patience is a virtue". I do believe I am going to succeed at the end! I'll keep you posted.

Definitely interesting in what you are doing. I don't believe you can make a million from adsense in a single year on a single site. If you were to make a million with adsense, you'd have to have either TONS of small sites making a chump change a day which will total a lot each day. Or multiple really large sites making decent money on each. But from my experience, I can't make much with adsense and I have a fairly large forum. You need to have multiple ad companies. I have CPM ads that are paying much better than adsense.

But adding up ads + services + products should yield you a nice income. But it will be extremely hard for you to reach 1 million. You would need to be making around 2800/day every day for a whole year to reach that. Good luck. My BEST day has been 1300 but that isn't consistent lol

 

I am sure there are sites that make much more than that a year from advertising revenue, but they would have had to work seriously hard to get there and must have sites with immense amount of traffic. Of course, a big company with a huge budget could start a site, promote it and drive tons of traffic to it.

 

Purchase that fantastic converting Landing Page targeting it to elephant art (add domain, godaddy).

Then go to needanarticle.com and have some great articles made about your elephant, put those articles in your Getresponse autoresponder. (keep buying when needed).

Send massive amounts of targeted traffic to your elephant Landing Page.

No seriously, I don't think it's impossible to make a million dollars within a year online. It won't be easy but it's possible. As someone has already mentioned, some of the high profile gurus are doing it, why not you? I have made over a reasonable amount of money in the last 8 months and I would still be considered a newbie to some.

Although what i've made is nowhere near a million dollars, it's more than I ever made in a year working a regular job. You just have to stay with it and take action. Trust me my friend, anything is possible.

Well I am aiming for more than 1 million a year )) I started slowly but I am getting there.. I know what to do to get that much money, it just needs a little time. At the moment I only earn 50-100 dollars a day. I have spent about 3 years in front of the computer to gain enough knowledge to create something that will earn me that much money. However, sorry folks but I won't share it with ya. What I am saying is that, you should always try hard and you will succeed in getting it.

 

I think 1 Million in a year is very achievable as long as you can afford to reinvest what you make at the start Once you break the $100/day barrier things will get a whole lot easier!

 

Finally there is some progress. The highest big is at $455.00! Although it’s long way to go.

 

This concept reminds me of the kid that sold the 1 million pixels for $1 each. Million dollar homepage or whatever it was.

The auction idea is interesting. I think the way you positioned your copy is wrong. I think asking if something is going to sell for $1 million dollars will stop it from getting interim bids. People aren't just gonna be like, oh yes, let me spend $1 million dollars. Remember no one bought all 1 million pixels at once. You gotta find messaging that's interesting, builds up momentum, make people listen, tilt their heads, and begin talking about you.

Most of all, you gotta find a way to get people bidding on it now! Like in drones! That's your only shot on watching it bid. If people aren't interesting in bidding on it right now, you'll have a heck of a time getting a $1 million bid. That'll come when your on CNN and some rich dude who wants to puff his chest swoops in. That's your dreamy man.

 

That's what I'm trying to achieve with this auction. It’s just it’s hard to market this concept and get through to main stream media.
