Is it possible to implement sitemap to my blogger blog

i am hearing about this site map for few months but i dont know how to implement it to my blogger blog

 

In wordpress you can add pages to the blog (pages are displayed in another way than the regular posts). I would look for something similar in blogger. If there is such feature you can create a page which will be the sitemap.

Yeah i would also like to know if you could submit a blogger sitemap.

 

In blogger, we cant have site map like in other web sites or wordpress (personaly i havent tried wordpress), so how we can add blogger site map is, your feed adress is actually your site map. You can add in Google web master tools or any other place site map like this atom.xml?redirect=false. Thats all, this is your site map. If you need more information, let me know and i will happy to give in details. ( i hope i anwer what was your question, if not then i aplogise.

 

For implement Google Sitemap on your blog you can use WordPress Plugins. For this search this phrase "WordPress Plugins" on search engine.

You can submit your blog's feed as your sitemap.Actually you know what,if your using blogger you dont even have to worry about sitemaps as they are automatically created by blogger and submitted.
In case you want to submit manually in webmaster tools you can submit
yourblog URL/feeds/posts/default or
yourblog URL/feeds/posts/default?alt=atom
yourblog URL/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss

 

They wont work antill you dont put at end "atom.xml?redirect=false". Site map will not work with "Rss" feed, even you try to submit, it will return error after passing some hours, Atom feed will work and index your pages. Good luck

 

Exactly, The way to add sitemap to blogger is, Login to your gmail account, go to webmaster tools and add your blog url to the given required field and you will see some next steps so go on... You wil be provided a short verification URL, which you have to put in ur given blog Edit HTML Area under <Title> tag or the mentioned place in webmaster tools. then click on verify and you will be said for wait till the approval of blog sitemap.

 

Ohh yes..Thanx for reminding...Its been a year since I used blogger coz I moved to wordpress...Forgot the blogger stuff I guess.
RSS will not work as a sitemap.

not directly though, you can create a link to your blog in your website and get it indexed then.

 

i dnt think blogger blogs wud need sitemaps for seo

Exactly, that what I said. If you go through the features of blogger blog given by Google,it is clearly mentioned that a sitemap will automatically created for every blogger blog and submitted.

 

For Bloggers blog no need of sitemap.

 

Your blog url/atom.xml is sitemap for your blogger blog

Ex: finestmail.blobspot.com/atom.xml

Well, its simple. Go to Google Webmasters Tools, verify your site and go to the page where you submit the sitemaps.

where you see:
htp://yourblogadress.blogspot.com/

Type atom.xml in the text box and click in add sitemap.
Done, now you will have a fully sitemap by your rss feed

Works great, I already use this technique in more than 80 blogs..

 

I have created sitemap for my blog site india-jobs-opening.blogspot.com. Can any one suggest me how to place this file on blogger.com.
