    Check out SwiftPanel. I've found that control panel to be very simple to configure and use. It's only available for Linux game servers.

    I would also recommend taking a look at GameCP. They offer it for both Linux and Windows and it is quite affordable.

    I think that would be possible to install whatever you want or need if you have full root access to your server.
