Is it possible to have adsense on a one page website?

Just curious. Is it possible to add adsense ads on one of my websites that only has one page? (No other pages. Just home)

    Thanks.

Also, does anyone make any money from one page websites?

You need at least two pages because to be in compliance you must have a published privacy policy.

Yes I do. Maybe enough per year to cover the hosting.

    Thanks for the reply.

Is anyone else making decent revenue from this?

Doesn't "Adsense for domains" allow ads on blank pages, with absolutely no content?

You always want to stay with the policies. That is very key. You want one page and a privacy policy page because you have Google Adsense. You got have it to be in the required norms by Google.

    Cheers...

    I would usually have a minimum of around 4 pages per site;

    main page
    privacy policy
    links
    sitemap

I now have 2 pages. Home and privacy policy page. Is this okay, or do I need more?

You do not have to have two pages but you do have to have a published privacy policy.

Don't you think the second page looks a little better than adding the policy on to the bottom of your page.

Yes! It's okay to run one-page website and add adsense ads on that page (assuming you've one more page for privacy policy). The amount you can make really depends on the niche, and the traffic.

I have had really good success with single pages. (with a privacy policy) It is completely dependent on the niche and how you drive traffic to the page. Single pages can totally rock if you do it right....TOTALLY! Some of them make $10.00 or more a day.....

if you dont have a n adsense account yet, then you need more pages than one to get approved. here's the major requirements these days:

you must have a site with your own domain name, bllogger or other free hosted sites will not work
your domain must be at least 6 months old
    you must have unuque content

if you have an adsense account already, then you can add the adsense code on any site/page you want given that the site/page is adsense compliant
