Is it possible to get well ranked if i register a .NAME domain name?

    Is it possible to get well ranked if i register a .NAME domain name?
    I have never seen .NAME domains listed in google?

    www.nic.name is indexed in google.:D

    I think it would be harder to rank well in google with a .name because not much weight is given to that extension. It could be done but you would have to work just a little harder.

    hmmm yes chaos. i did few Google searches. but found no positive results. anyway it is really hard to find a .com domain to promote a game, which i have created by my self.

    I don't understand why they would penalize you based on a different TLD. Sure, maybe they'll give preference to regional domains, but they should at least index any type of domain.

    Mostly it is difficult .NAME domain name are good rank in search engine.

    search engines will not look domain tld.

    they will only look your seo and backlinks
