Is It Possible To Get Higher PR Than Wikipedia?

My old friend from school has been a radio announcer for a while now here in the bay area and he is trying to rank higher on Google when you search is first and last name "Chris Townsend". When you search "Chris Townsend" a Wikipedia article and an sfgate.com article shows up before his personal website which is located here http://www.kandtshow.com
Is it possible to rank higher than these two seo giants?

It is possible but it does take a lot of work to beat sites like Wikipedia :(

I think it would help if his site were christownsend.com or similar. Maybe I'm mixing correlation and causation, but often when I see a site ranking higher than WP for a keyword, those keywords are in the domain name.

Yeah the only bad thing about getting a wiki page is that chances are it'll outrank your personal site right away.

I see no reason why he can't beat it though, its not like its on the main wiki page.
