Is it possible to geotarget down to the zipcode?

    Hello,

I am interested in determining the zipcode location of the visitors of my website.

WIth geotargeting I know I can get city information but I need to know zipcodes.

Is anyone aware of a way to do this?

As far as I know this isn't possible because IP blocks are assigned to ISPs and then they can assign those IPs to any endpoint.

Yeah, I checked out their website and they have a similar statement regarding IP locations...

"Not being able to determine the postal code in many cases is a general limitation of geolocation services. Typically an ISP will have its users connect to a central office and assign their client an IP address from a block of IP address."

Whoever figures this one out is gonna be rich because I really think geotargeting is the wave of the future (sorry for the use of the lame expression but I hope you get my point). There is so many uses for it.

I know programs exist that can find my small town, but I don't know what they are called.
