    Hello,
I think my question is very crazy and almost nobody knows the answer , because nobody knows google way to get better rank but..
One of my clients is targeting too many keywords of different pages, not much times per page 2 - 3 time, but most of the keywords are with repetitive part. For example use 5 times name of the country + specific keyword. He use 5 time one country + same keyword part for the other 5 countries. Is it possible to get banned because this ? I adviced him that this can be understood as search engine spamming. Am i right ?
    King regards...

You really have to give an example because you can easily use a keyword 5 times within a page and still have natural text.

I sincerely doubt he will get banned or delisted for that.

He just won't get as much benefit as he does in Yahoo and MSN

It is possible to get lower listings for that. Whether they will get banned or not for that, I don't know. But the main thing is: do advise them to use words that people would understand - with just a few keywords integrated into the text. Repeating stuff five times is bound to get a penalty from google.

[edited] I do agree with the previous poster that it's context dependent. If it's just a normal part of the text to repeat those words, then do repeat them. But if it's obviously keyword stuffing, tone it down a bit. A page on 'webdesign' will usually have the words 'web design' in there a few times. No problem. But to just repeat 'web design' 'web design' etc. five times is not a good idea. [/edited]

I think google now encourages better text so there is no need to spam a page with keywords repeated time and agin. The articles can read naturally and still rank well for the targetted keywoprds even if the se keyword have been used sparingly throughout the text.

Please give some example buddy. Repeating the keywords in the content or just the phrase? Please provide a proper article written by your client.

    Hello again guys,
Thanks for the all replies. I have suggest the same as most of you. To target variety of few words no more than 5. And now he target something like this:

    USA air freight
    Canada air freight
    China air freight
    India air freight
    Australia air freight
    Hong Kong air freight
    USA sea freight
    Canada sea freight
    China sea freight
    India sea freight
    Australia sea freight
    Hong Kong sea freight

Actually this words appear in content in different pages but i still think that there is a lot repeating which i count for SPAM, not sure how Google count it.
But when i make a monthly keyword report for him i get my IP locked in Google from Anti Flood control. This is just a small part of keywords. I also noticed that strategy with a lot keywords help in MSN and Yahoo.

    King Regards....

Repitition doesn't always equal SPAM. If he is spreading it out throughout the contect and even throughout the site as a whole, depending on how he does it it will help him a lot with no risk of a ban
