Hello, I would like to ask if anyone knows where can I find minimalist html/css templates, similar to the ones you can see in theses sites: http://minimalexhibit.com/ http://designinstruct.com/visual-inspiration/web-design-inspiration/minimalist-website-designs/ I know about ThemeForest, Elegant Themes, WooThemes and many more similar, but none of them seems interested in the kind of template that I need. Almost all the templates that I can find in those places are bloated with too much JavaScript, up & down -one page- scrolling, hover effects, parallax effects, many other effects, and so on. Now and then I can find something interesting, but usually for WordPress or even Tumblr. I need just the html/css to customise it to my needs, and then integrate the theme for example with ExpressionEngine or Textpattern. Any ideas? Thank you.
Sounds like a bootstrap template would be a good place for you to start...you can't get much more minimalist than that. Try this site: startbootstrap.com/
http://coding.smashingmagazine.com/2008/12/01/100-free-high-quality-xhtmlcss-templates/ http://speckyboy.com/2012/09/03/20-free-responsive-html-css-templates/ Perhaps not too entirely compelling but anything beats bootstrap. I think the fellow above me missed your whole bloated with js remarks. Hope that helps, Nigel
Hello Atenua! There are many other website where you can find your own choice template. I personally use templatemonster.com. Its very good for templates. There are a lot of collection of templates. Bootstrap is also good option for you. Now a days i use bootstrap in my new website because its for mobile, tablets and desktop as well..
