Hello there, is it possible to edit a PDF (add text to input forms) that's downloaded or viewed and displayed via a browser using Acrobat Reader? Is there any easy way that allows users to edit PDFs without having to print them out? If not, is there a workaround to solve this PDF editing problem? Thanks, Marv.
Not that I know of. Here's what I do... I take the PDF and drop it in a word file. I make the edits. Then I print it through my bullzip pdf printer. (Get this free online.) It doesn't print. What it does is convert the file. You can then polish the edit in there and load the new pdf in place of the original. This is a free way to get around adobe.
Hey Eric, thanks. I'm looking for a way to allow web users edit and save PDFs on my website. Never seen it done before but I notice that on some PDF files it allows you to click on input forms which shows the input form highlighted and cursor/type blinker enabled. Maybe that's here nor there but I guess saving PDFs online must be a common request..
