    Hello all,

I'm looking for a web-site which can give me hosting for practicing but I don't want web-sites with drag-drop editors or standart templates.

I need to create all of my web design, pages, scripts, icons.....

I have an idea, a design and a system but all in my mind. Is it possible to develope a web-site on somewhere which we do not have? Just for try?

I wouldn't worry about hosting. Practice locally on your computer, there is no need to use hosting for a practice site. If you require a server for server side coding like PHP, just download WAMP or MAMP.

Yeah, abusschaert is right. You can do it all locally. Just open the page you are working on in a browser, and every time you edit the html just refresh the browser to see the magic. When I'm building sites I have no less than three browsers open so I can see what the pages look like in the three major browsers ( IE, FireFox, Chrome). Sometimes things will look a little different in different browsers.

Have you thought of using a framework to practice different layout styles? These too can be used locally and I found they were a great help in learning how to build good looking pages.

When you want to use php or MySQL then you can use XAMPP on your machine to test all locally. So you don't need a hosting service and you can also use more then HTML to develop your site.

Which part of website development are you interested? Code a website, setup website on the live hosting, design mockup. Maybe you can elaborate more about what are you interested in practicing?

000Webhost is a free webhost and is the best free out there. All of the information is on their website, FTP is available so you can 'drag and drop' your files onto the server using a free FTP client like FileZilla. I cannot add links, so you'll have to search them on Google, they're both the first result.

    1) Any host that has a drag-drop editor and/or templates also allows you to upload your own files (except for some sleazy free hosts).

    2) Install xamppon your computer and you can run the files on your computer.

If you don't care about server side scripting you can just double click on an HTML file and boom there it is!

There so many free hosting service providers are available, co.cc is one of them, you have to search hosting service based on technologies are you using for your practice website.

If you are using Lamp than you have to check linux hosting else window hosting.

Please can you tell me exactly what is your purpose of hosting service ?
