Is it Possible to da adwords for Search Engine?

    Is it possible to do PPC for a search engine? what will be the target?
    please help me guys...with your valuable points....

    I guess it would have to be similar to a Ebay campaign where you try to catch everything. This is lot's of work though.

    You would have to write ads for each keyword or keywords theme and link to your results page on your search engine (linking to your homepage will kill you in QS as you need to be relevant.) Not a bad tactic I guess to get new users.

    Havinf owned and run a search engine in the past, don't expect to make money from your campaign through clicks on your site. There will be very few if any opportunities where you will pay less per click than you would receive if someone click on one of your sponsered listings.

    If you're asking if Ebay is the only one who does this then, no. Lots of other companies employ this tactic too. But you have to be particularly careful if you are pulling feeds from other ppc search engines on your site as it could be against their terms.
