I have a Facebook account that I use for family and friends and not interested in associating a page with that account. I'm concerned that if my page gets banned or i get banned for Facebook ads, then it will endanger my Facebook profile. So I would just rather use a new Facebook account to start my page, so there's no link. However, I don't want to take the time to personalize the new timeline. Is there just a way I can create the page by itself without having to get a personal Facebook account?
No, you need to be logged in. I don't have any experience with the bans but I do know that anyone with a page should have someone else as an admin so that if there is a problem they can still get in. I've run pages for years, I know other people who have run pages. None of us have ever had a problem. Why do you think you will?
Facebook requires all Business Pages to be linked to a personal account so that they can administrate the Page. It's also against Facebook Terms of Policy to create a personal account for a business.
You cannot create a page without a profile. Add other admins to your page. This is the only option available in FB. Do not try methods which might lead your account to be banned.
